What's the lowest shot of NOS available? I think a 40 shot would be my choice, nothing more though. I read a post a little while ago and someone said a 40 shot was minimal. Where would I purchase it, and how much would it cost? Would a secondary fuel pump be necassary, and retuned ECU? What's the best way to go for a low shot of NOS, fogger, or injected? What kind of gains should I see? Thnx guys.

JC Whitney Kit

40-60 shot dry kit on sale for under $400 delivered. running a 40 shot probably won't require any other gauges or upgrades if the motor is in good shape.

That's a dry kit, so my stock fuel system will be adequate, *BUT*, I want to be safe and not blow anything, so would it be possible to run a secondary fuel pump to only the N20 and not my injectors? Because if my stock fuel system has the slightest smallest blip or something, there goes the VQ. So when I hit the arming switch, I would also arm the secondary fuel pump so when the N20 is running, I won't ruin anything. Sound good?

you could go lower than a 40 shot if you wanted. just use smaller jets.

25 shot = .024
30 shot = .026
35 shot = .028

i tried a 30 shot once, and i could BARELY tell if it was on or not. the only way to be sure if it was hitting, was if i saw my fuel pressure bumped up.

the kit does come with a fuel pressure safety switch that should shut off the n2o if fuel pressure is inadequate. you may want to get verification on this. i am looking at starting at a 50 shot and working up to at least 70 but i will be adding a better fuel pump and an assortment of gauges.
