Could this be my TRANS?

Alright fellas, this is the story... for the last couple of months my car has become very sluggish when it gets warm out. When i drive it for like 30 minutes it becomes very slow.. i dont understand this i almost have to floor it for it to go anywhere!!! I have a complete tune up done(3 months ago), no cel light, nothing.. at night the car drives like a dream but during the day omg it just doesnt want to go an anywhere sometimes...Im beginning to think that its the trans because when i leave it in 2nd (auto) it moves better... but in drive it goes nowhere. what do you guys think?

Also it sounds like the trans isn't downshifting the way it should. If keeping it in second makes it faster, but leaving it in D makes it feel slower, it's partly because you are keeping you're transmission from shifting any further than 2nd.

If you've got a cone (HAI) setup, thats why your car gets slow when it gets hot. Put the stock setup back in and enjoy the throttle response and power it brings back.
