I made this thread awhile back and i am JUST NOW getting aroudn to having time to do it.
i figured i'd get some clarification before i go into this thang, in case anyone can give me anymore info.
my main concern is what paint to use?
so yeah, actually, i'm just completely lost.
i need some specifics on the paint.
thank you.

Is this what you're looking to do? Or are you planning on painting the whole thing? Mine came stock like this so I'm not exactly sure what type of paint you'd need, but I'm sure it would make a difference if you were painting the whole thing. If you're painting the whole mud flap, both sides, you'll obviously need a paint that will resist paint chips better. I would check with a local paint shop. They'll probably know best.
I'm not sure if this is how all the mudflaps come on Maxima's or not, but since you want to paint yours I'm assuming some of them come with totally black mud flaps?

yes, mine are totally black, i think most maximas' are. Yours must be like that because you have an ES? I have seen some that are FULL body color.
finding the proper paint, and finding the proper paint color are 2 different things.

I believe Canadian model 4th Gen Maximas came with those painted mudflaps as options. Here in the states, the mudflaps came unpainted (black). I had mine painted like those a few years ago. Quite a few folks here had their entire mudflap painted to match their car. I personally liked how the Canadian ones look with the black lip and the paint only on the surfaces that blend up into the body. Either way, it looks nice. Just make sure the body shop uses flex paint.
