Has anyone seen a Maxima trunk mat for a 4th Gen? My cousin has a factory mat in his '03 trunk which matches the tan interior and has a nice embroidered "maxima" logo. Don't know whether they were offered on 4th Gen SE's or GLE's. All I have is a cheap dark covering in my tan GXE.

 

All i know is that in my 95 gle, i also have that cheap dark mat that dont even have a hard surface. Had to custom make something solid under the mat in order to provide stability for the sub. Every 4th gen i saw had the same trunk mat.

 

I never found any factory trunk mats except for the cheap, mouse-fur that came with the car. FWIW, I went to a local carpet store and bought a nice carpet remnant, and then trimmed it to fit the trunk. Dampens the noise a tiny bit and looks really good too.

 

My uncle has for his 98 that he ordered with the car. I wonder whether they are still available at the stealerships? They are extremely nice and make a nice difference in the trunk.

 

I've never seen one on a 4th Gen. I've only seen the cheap "mouse fur."
