If your rear seats fold down, go into the trunk thru the rear seats and try pulling the emergency trunk release on the inside.

You can also reach through the pass through and pull the release.

did you make sure that valet switch is off?
do you hear electric lock clicking when you press the fob switch or internal
trunk release button?
Could be something jammed up the lock when you last closed it.
For starters follow the advise you already got here and try to reach emergency trunk release handle thats locked inside the trunk.
Pull on that while somebody on the outside tries to force the trunk up.
Once you get it opened up, then you can figure out whats not working.

I'm having the same problem as well. Replaced the actuator and nothing. Yes, the trunk button in the glove is in the right position.
