Clearance Light Problem

I went to do the brighter clearance light mod, so I unscrew the scew holding the clearance light in. I get the thing popped out a LITTLE bit. But it seems to be stuck in The instructions for the mod, no matter whose I read, just says "stick in a flathead screwdriver and pop it out." Well it doesn't appear to be that simple...where do I stick the screwdriver? What am I doing wrong?

i had the same problem... the first time u do this its gonna be a lil tougher than u think, since this has never been taken out since the day it left the factory. u just need to pry hard, it seems like its gonna break but it wont... if u pry it a lil like u said u may wanna look inside for where the clip is hoding it... its located toward the bottom of the light housing... PM me if u still have problems... best advuce i have is not bein afraid breaking it, just dont pry on the corner of the light and ull be fine

I tried it but it didnt work...so i praid the plastic cover....just where the plastic(glass) ends i use the tip of a flat screwdriver and a cloth and took it off replace it with the PIAA one and snap it back in.... the housing or greyish around plastic stayed there.

Yeah I eventually got one off today. Only to take out the bulb and realize the filament had fallen out. Somehow I didn't notice the bulb not lighting up when I had the lights on though Now I do though...

What about getting it to sit tight again though? There's a tiny, tiny gap where it touches the fender on the side. It wasn't like that before, and it isn't that way on the other clearance light. How can I get it to sit tight again?
