Struts for stock height?

Ok so my car is starting to bounce when i go over the crappy bumpy roads and it just feels like my car is gonna fishtail and its starting to scare the crap out of me... Is it ok for me to just replace with kyb gr2 or would it be better if i replace with tokico illumina. Suggestions are welcome.

I read alot of bad stuff about the gr2 but thats for dropped cars. Would the illumina ride better on stock height than the gr2 or would it not make a difference stock height?

I'd say go for the GR2s. I don't know why people have so much trouble with them. I have them with H&Rs, and it is great. But with stock springs, i think it would make it feel good again.
Someone else must have an opinion too. Let's hear it.

GR2s are about 15% stiffer than stock from what I've heard. They should be fine for stock height.

I've used them with maxspeed springs for 3 years now and I'm fine with the ride.

Illuminas will cost a lot more but let you adjust the stiffness to your liking.

I have GR2s all around on stock springs. I like the combo (for stock height).

I have GR2's with stock springs. It gives the car a very planted feel. Great at high speeds on the expressway. But i am thinking on changing to Tokico HP Blues. GR2's are getting stiff for me and the car seems to squeek and rattle more now too. If the roads in Hawaii are smooth and don't have to worry about potholes then go with the GR2's.

i was using GR2's on stock springs for a while. after about 2 months though, the ride became very mushy. The car began having terrible body roll...and i still felt and heard every bump and imperfection in the road.
