New Clutch

New Clutch

So any other suggestions on a new clutch...when u say 5th gen clutch is that just the stock 5th gen maxima clutch?? how about performance clutch's? any good ones that are out there?

maxmods.dyndns.org has a crapload of information on all the clutches, with some reviews.


My advice, don't **** around, and just get an OEM one or even better, go with ACT stage 1. I went with an Excedy Stage 1, which is supposedly 15% better than stock, but it bites worse, and still can slip if I punch it right. Also, its too soft of a pedal feel for my tastes (coming from a 300ZX with an ACT Stage 2).

OEM will last the longest and is guaranteed to be right...

if you have basic bolt-ons, then no use to going past a stage 1 clutch and the best clutch to use would be the OEM 5th gen clutch assembly.
