I was turning the wheel in the garage and heard something so i turned my music down.

It is a fairly loud "clicking" sound coming from the front driver side corner of the car and only occurs when the car is in neutral or in park and only at 3/4 to full lock turning left. When the car is in gear the noise is no longer there, but once back into neutral the noise comes back, only occuring at 3/4 to full lock turn to the left.

Get away from your car now, the clicking noise is a time bomb!

Just kidding. I would visually inspect the joints and check for any rubbing with suspension parts. I had a clunking noise after I first installed my modified suspension and it ended up that it was the upper strut mount rubbing on the end of a bolt which sticks out into the fender. I just put a couple washers to raise the bolt a little higher and the noise has gone away. However, I have recently developed more clunking noises while steering, and have not been able to pinpoint these just yet (no rubbing, as far as I can tell).

I should have been more specific, my fault. It now seems to be clicking with a loud click/snap toward full lock. I also checked and my CV boot is busted. I don't even want to suspect worn or damaged CV joint.... going to the dealer asap....

Possibly strut bearing ...

Seems like this is a common problem prone to upgrading our suspension setup from stock. I dropped my Maxima 2 months ago and ever since then my front passenger side suspension have been making 'popping' sounds everytime I turn my steering wheel into/or out of a parking spot. At times it sounds like the spring is 'snapping', scarier than a time bomb...j/k.
Anyhow, if you have the same problem as mine, I suggest you have your suspension taken out and looked at...maybe the strut bearing is shot or even the entire upper strut bearing mount to be replaced. Check these components 1st before suspecting it's the cv joint... these parts cost much less $$ to replace and like I said, it's common among suspension upgrades.

I had to change

my CV joint, and cv boot it was not pretty, Imagine a cracking, and popping sound while turning at an speed. I had the boot changed and the joint changed with a rebuilt one(i don't know why). My car still makes a little popping sound at low speeds, but its not really noticable
