D2 Adjustment

So I have had the D2s since I got the car and I am kind of curious about playing around with the settings. I have the two keys, but turning them around the spindle (?) seems pretty difficult and I would rather know EXACTLY what to do. Assume I am a total moron and explain:

how to adjust ride hight

how to adjust firmness

any personal tips with the D2s

Thanks in advance!

to adjust the height, just simply turn the bottom part. the front will have the allen screws that needs to be tightened after you adjust the height. the top mount on the front will have 4 allen screws which adjusts your camber which also effects the way your wheel is position and the way the car will lean towards. meaning if you have the wrong camber, it will not drive straight. you can get an alignment and they will fix this problem, or you can go cheap for now and use a leveler. don't have any pre-load on the springs. meaning leave no gap at ALL for the coilovers. make sure that you cannot twist the spring by hand before you install it. this is the easiest way i found to know how much to adjust the height. your car is not stock i assume. measure how much you want to lower you're car when its sitting on your stock suspension. from the wheel well to the tire. say 4 inches. if its 4 inches you want to lower, than when you take the stock suspension out, measure 4 inches from where the bolt is and turn it so that the same bolt spot on the d2 is 4 inches higher than the stock one.

NOTICE: make sure the upper mounts will be facing correct way since you need to make sure both sides are the same height.

The ride isn't too harsh. Uneven surfaces become more noticable but that is pretty much the case in all aggressive setups. The car STICKS I'll tell you that.

my car is pretty low, and when i go off driveways sideways because they're too steep, i always feel like one of my wheels are off the ground and then i look around n people are staring at my car because i think they see that one wheel is off. I have 9/7 and way too hard for me. i'd say go with k-sport cause they were only $740 shipped, but i dunno how much they are now.
