Panic Button

Does anyone know where the power wire that activates the horn and headlights to flash after the panic button is pushed comes from? Is it back in the trunk? I?m hoping to use the panic button to turn the car to the run position so I can cool it down in the summer before I get in. I would just buy a remote start kit but I have a 5 speed so this way I don?t have to worry about the car being in gear plus I don?t want to have another remote on my key chain. I think I saw a kit on ebay that allows you to start it with your factory keyless entry fob, but its over $80.

You do know the A/C doesn't work unless the engine is running, right?

Thanks I didnt know the engine had to be running in order for the A/C to work. Now that I think about it it makes complete sense I guess I just didnt think this one through. Thanks again

A Basic remote start system can be configured to work off your factory remote.

I have the Valet remote start system in my car configured to start by pushing the factory lock button twice within a few seconds. I've had it for over 4 years, never had a problem. I think it was $150 installed with the module for the factory immobilizer system.
