Auto windows down

Ok so my car (98 i30) has what i believe is the greatest feature ive ever seen, the windows that go down with pushing and holding unlock. Now im curious as if anyone can make the rear ones go down too, and the sunroof open? Also it would be cool if i could close them by pushing and holding lock.

Whoever can figure this out is my hero.

Thanks

Push the lock button three times, spin around on your heel, and shout, "HEY!" twice. All that you described will happen instantly.

there is no way to roll the back ones down. BUt you can roll the front ones down and back up. to roll down as you said hit and hold "unlock". To roll them back up hold the unlock button once they are down, and the hold trunk and they will roll back up. it is all in your owners manual.

I heard you had to recite an ancient burial passage and look to the eastern sky.

no way to roll them back up....
but that one was pretty convincing. this has been discussed a few times before. and it always turns out to look jus like this thread. "all you got to do is....(insert BS here)..."
but maybe someone can wire something up. who knows. im sure its possible with alot of splicing wires and such.

Is there a way to mod the windows, to get them to go back up?

Blinker fluid was good, and so was the air pressure in the steering wheel.

The roll down window feature only works on the 4th gen keyfobs. I don't know why they didn't make it a feature for the 5th gens. I've always wondered whether i can roll them back up, i haven't tried holding the trunk button.

jebus, how many threads are there gunna be like this.

ok fronts go down, not back up

you can set all to go down and then back up. its just in the modules u have to buy to do it. its gunna cost you a pretty penny. but is possible.

Wow, I didn't know anybody actually used this feature! I always thought it was pretty useless for me...of course I never drive with the windows down so I guess that's why. I always get annoyed when I accidentally press the button too long and they roll down.

Very helpful when its 100+ degrees, you have leather, and you want to minimize frying like an egg inside the car when you get in. I love this feature.

Especially here, get some air circulating before I hop in.
