UR Ultra L Aluminum Flywheel vs Fidanza

I don't understand which flywheel is better, at first i thought that the UR is becaouse it says its 5lbs but thats without the gear and you have to use the factory gear while the Fidanza is with the gear? right?
So what is the total weight of the UR flywheel vs the 12lb of the Fidanza

Thanks

i dont know the actual weight of the ur but i will warn you, the findanza makes almost everyones car bog after they buy it. Its nice, and revs fast, but i think lighter would be even better and the bogging after i put mine in is an inconvinience. I dont think anyway has figured out why to this day. My vote is on the ur, it costs more but should be worth it, you just need to find a way to get the ring gear on. maybe stillen would be a better option as well.

I had a ur in my 95 and a fidanza in my 99.....i feel the oposite of what mximus said. my car bogged with the ur more than with the fidanza....and from what i remember it feels as my revs climbed and droped faster with my ur.

Iv been reading around and am not seeing any desicive info, as far as i understand UR is like 10-11lbs and Fidanza is around 12lbs. But Fidanza will come with the gear and is a lil cheeper. Also it seems to be more popular than the UR, so right now im thinking Fidanza, unless someone has convincing info

The fidanza doesn't have mounting points for your timing ring and the mechanic will have to tap and die it onto the new flywheel. There may be slight vibrations due to imperfections in this process or due to not resurfacing the flywheel.

11.4lbs before the ring gear about half of stock.
