Quick Q about suspension help

ok 1st how are these springs http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT ,2nd can i just run the springs on the stock setup till i get the rest of it or is that a bad thing to do.Last with just the springs on the stock setup will it look better and handle better.

You can't drop your car on the stock struts - they will blow pretty quickly. The car will be lower (amounts stated on the ebay link). Whether that looks better or not is your call.

has anyone ever droped the car on stock setup?will they really blow right away.well iam sure n e drop to the max looks better then the 4x4 look

Personally, i would NOT drive with the stock struts, just save some more and wait. I waited, and it was worth it! I just installed those, with illuminas. Plus, saves you having to install twice, just go all out in 1 go.

They will blow, sooner or later, they will.

Are you supposed to get a specific type of strut depending on the degree of the drop?

some struts can handle bigger drops than others. the s-techs are pretty much the biggest drop for the Max without some custom work and if you used tokico's, you should go Illumina's rather than HP's.

Ive got those, they are nice but Im not too sure the lowering numbers are correct, unless they still need to settle, but it is much better than it was with the stock, my 17's actually look like 17's!
