Suspension question -- Choosing strut mounts

Hi everyone.. So I noticed my alignment changes from left to right depending on how much I turn on one side, I've had it aligned twice to no avail. Apparently the rubber of my strut towers so old and deteriorated that it squishes down like a sponge and causes the car to lean whichever direction I put pressure on.

I'm going to replace my strut mounts myself, but I don't know which ones to get. All I've seen online are KYB front strut mounts, and I've heard not good things about those strut mounts.

Any suggestions? Also, are front/rear necessary or just front/

Thanks

The strut mounts only isolate the piston (shock absorber part) of the strut assembly from the body of the car. It's got nothing to do with the ride height of the car. The spring perch sits on the metal bracket that houses the acutal mount (rubber section) and is bolted right onto the chassis.

Please be more specific about your changing alignment.
Does your steering wheel loose it's center position?
Have you checked the inner and outter tie rod ends for play?
Have you checked the rack & pinion mounting bushings for excessive ware or play?
Have you checked for loose ball joints or control arm bushings?

You could also have a bad rack.
