Bose Hu Install Probs
hey my HU is messed up and until i can get the one i want im installing the bose head unit that i got from my friend...the bose head unit works fine but the only problem is that when i installed it .......my pioneer speakers sound real low........i plugged in the two terminals in the back that go in the black thingy..lol....but there is also another terminal..a white one next to the CD changer terminal does that one have to be plugged also and if so......i cant find it in my dash at all...can anyone help

You need to post this in the audio section. It's been awhile since I messed with the bose, one reason why your speakers sound lower is because the bose speakers are like 1 ohm, since pioneers are 4 ohm... well you know the rest. As long as you are getting sound through the speakers I don't know if there is much else you can do until you get a new head unit.

2 ohms actually . But yes your running the pioneer speakers at a lower impediance which since pioneers are such poorly made speakers they will probally distort and be very low. THe only other thing i could think of is that you have the positive and negative mixed up.

you need either the NISA4H adapter made by PAC (somethign like that model number) or the Scosche adapter from walmart, it says made for ford, its a line-in convertor, that defiantely works. remove your pioneers or supposedly theyll blow due to the difference impedance.
