Greddy Sp2 Low Hanging B Pipe

Ok, well I haven't been on the site for a month or two, and ever since I installed my Greddy Sp2, the low hanging B Pipe has been driving me crazy. I have been debating just going back to a stock b pipe and muffler, because every time I look at my car, it aggrivates me to see the B pipe hanging as low as it is. Has anyone on here had the same problem, and actually corrected it? I have been reading some of the posts on here about the SP2 and it seems to be a pretty common problem. I am ordering a new rubber hanger, since the one that I have on there now seems pretty stretched out, but I think it will only be a matter of time until the new one does the same. Thanks for the input.

I think thats just an installation problem, because most people's SP2 doesnt hang down.

to help clarify, I got mine installed by greddy and yes, the b pipe hangs low. Hence all SP2 exhausts should be the same way, unless somone found a way to fix it. I'm on S-Tech and I rarely scratch it.

Yea I haven't had any issues with it scraping the ground, it just aggrivated me since I thought it was a fitment issue, and for 500+ bucks, there shouldnt be. At least im not the only one who has this issue. Thanks for the input...

It hangs low but you can solve this by buying stiffer rubber hangers from a muffler shop.

hmm well i see u have a 95-96, maybe, and this is just a guess, the 97-99 fit diff... i know on mine i put the 95-96 version on my 97 b/c its a lil shorter and fits flush w/ the bumper... so maybe that makes some sort of diff

my sp2 doesn't have problem with fitment.

but it's an easy fix. buy a 3-4" long clamps and tighten it around the rubber hanger on the b-pipe. maybe it'll lift up the b-pipe a bit.

i used to have 2 clamps on my magnaflow muffler's rubber hanger so it hangs up a bit higher... try it maybe it'll work...
