interesting...what part of Philly u in.? also, your PC screen looks out of place. Why not disassemble the lilliput and mold it in? Also with the suttle back there unsecured, wouldn't that cause your stuff to skip around?

I have met you before nupe, but you probably dont remember. I was at that small meet at Home Depot, then after that we moved to some parking lot. I go to Temple and have seen your car a few times.

I just got done with the carputer and I do plan to mold the screen because there is some gaps, I just wanted to get everything together and working before I do that. The Shuttle is okay sitting back there, it has rubber feet and under the carpet I have a thick foam pad which keeps it in place very well. I still have to mount it just to be safe. And I also have to clean up the wiring.

yeah, wow, paint looks great, very clean. i wish my license plate matched my body color i like the rims too.
quick question to anyone: are the windshield spray nozzles on the hood closer to the windshield on a 97-99 than on a 96? i thought that Jeeve had shaved them off at first until i looked way up near the windshield. i dunno, just looked different to me. maybe not. jw

Looks good. Especially the paint for a 1998. I would guess you are in NE... hehe.

How are the D2's handling Philly roads? And did you build that MediaCar GUI with the Nissan logo?

Thats for all the feedback. The paint is not the that great of condition, but it does look pretty right after a wash and wax.

I did not make the MediaCar GUI, I downloaded the skin and there was an option for all different logos.

Im very happy with the D2s but the 9/6 spring rate is stiff but overall I can deal with it.

very sweet setup and car.

ever consider buying pro-detailing tools like an orbital and some good waxes? it should bring your paint back to life! *since u mentioned the paint wasn't all that great .. car looks good in pics though.

The paint isnt horrible but up close there is a few light scratches here and there and minor swirls. I am planning to get a orbital but from what hear, it is difficult to wax a car with a buffer even for experienced people. I have not clayed either so that should help a lot. Right now I just apply Gold Class by hand and it come out okay.

Im still not finished with the grill but I cut off the old tabs to make it fit flush and I used the double sided tape on the bottom. With the hood shut its secure enough. Sometime later I will make a bracket or use plumbers tape.

Wow, it looks amazing! It just how I would do my car...if I had the funds! I did do the DTM mod as well though. Did you paint the housing of your bumper lights too or do they just look dark? The carputer is very cool as well and I LOVE Cefiros...especially the smoked ones. Very clean too...great job!!!

Great job! Like carputer especially! I'm working on this project too right now. How did you secure the screen in there? Any in-process pics?

Quick question: do the cefiros fit without any gaps on 97-99. I need headlight replacements and so i was looking at the cefiros, they look great, but then i saw a pic of them on a max and i saw there was about a 3/4" gapbetween the end of the light and the fender.

The black plate has been around for years in PA. It is a vanity plate that supports the D.A.R.E. program, anti-drug program run by the police.
