Just had the 02 sensor replaced and code is still showing

Just had the 02 sensor replaced and code is still showing

I replaced the 02 sensors and I still am getting the same code. I replaced both of the front ones. What eles can I do?

Are you sure the code wasnt for the rear one? Try resetting the ECU and keep driving.

Just keep driving the ECU will reset if you fixed the problem after so many starts....

also check the fuse for it while you're at it...i've heard others say that was blown.

I forget how to reset the codes again. Do I put the key in the on position and turn the screw on the ecu back and fourth once?

back and forth once to see the codes. back and forth again to reset.

Make sure you didn't put too much anti-seize grease on the threads when you put the new sensor in. Sometimes that will screw up the sensor.

I reset it and it keeps coming back on. I heard you can get fake o2 sensor's. Is that true?

O2 sensor question

I have 96 Maxima and the code I got was p0130 ( At Autozone ).

I replaced the Left Front O2 Sensor. Is that the correct one for the code ?

I could not find the instructions to RESET the code.

Help Please !!

How about the grounding strap right near the Cat/Y-Pipe connection? Does that have anything to do with the o2 sensors? Check that out...
