LCA bushing install tomorrow

Bought a lower control arm bushing kit off ebay earlier this week and am putting it on tomorrow. I have a 20 ton press in my garage so it shouldnt be an issue to get the old ones out.

I can post pics of what came in the kit if anyone cares.

You talking about the ball joint? Why would you need a press for the bushings?

An even better idea - take pics of the whole bushing replacement process and we can all use it when we get around to doing our own!

What sort of bushings did you buy? Are you replacing the ball joints at the same time?

i'll replace the ball joints if it needs it when i get there.

Yeah, i got the energy suspension urethane bushings. a lot of times the bushings get stuck in the passages and wont come out without some force--i.e. a press.

I'll take pics tomorrow and write it up. Its pretty self explanatory, but i'm sure some could use it for the pics and such.

I would love to see a write-up. I read another thread (not too long ago) that claimed that the ball joints were quite worn. While you have things apart, it might make sense to replace them (I think they run 30 bucks/pair on Ebay or something like that). Cheers. Thanks for volunteering to take pics and all that! It continues to add value to the org.
