I have some poor luck with this car... anyway heres the problem now.

I dropped my car off at a parking garage in NYC. I came back 2 hours later and the car is all sorts of messed up. I have a viper 791 xv alarm on the car. They said they just parked it and left the keys on the front seat. When I got back and tried starting the car, NOTHING HAPPENS.

The dash lights dont flash, no noises or clicks, the power seat doesnt work, the button to open the trunk doesnt work, nothing works. I know the battery is not dead, it is an Optima yellow top and we tried jump starting it to no avail. The car is completely dead, as if the entire electric system is disconnected. I tried taking the fuse out of the viper alarm but the key doesnt start the car.

THe only thing that works on the car is locking and unlocking the doors with the viper remote. Thats it. The remote start doesnt work.

I need to get my car started, i tried pop starting it with the clutch but that didnt work either. HELP!!

check your fuses? I've never heard of anything like that. Did anyone mess with the car?

well, can you turn on the radio? if not then your battery is dead. when i mean dead, i mean that jumping it won't even work. but you do have an optima battery. and if you only left it for 2 hours, then it shouldn't of happened even with your headlights on. you should still be able to get some things working. the guys that you left it with might of used the ac, n being a dumba$$ they are, prob didn't turn the car on. the battery will drain in about 15 minutes. again, try bringing a new battery there. the battery might be so dead that nothing will get it going again.

If it is true that your battery is not dead, then i dunno what to tell you. liek the other orger said, i've never heard of this in any type of car.

Fixed. Paid 65 bucks for a tow to the place that installed the viper alarm and optima battery. Turned out that the ground wire going to the battery was completely corroded, it had green powder in it and wasnt conductive at all. Replaced the wire and im back on the road 5 hours after I first realized that there was a problem.

Wow... I didn't know a battery cable would all of a sudden not work. That was an easy fix.
