Thursday Hell (56K warning!)

So I was driving home from downtown after a good nightclubbin, and this dumbass drunk girl runs a red light. The B!TCH! was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee... No!, she didn't swerve when she saw me, it was more like a bull seeing red, and this is the inpending horror that I now face every morning when I look at my beloved car

NO wait! it gets better!

Trunk is now jammed, can't open or close it

oh no, not my insurance, HER insurance! she ran a red light, I was lucky to see her and accellerated while I could, if I didn't she would have either T-boned me, or seriously messed up my rear passenger side wheels, I had 2 people in the car with me too, my friend hit her head because I swerved out a complete 180

Here we go again, the nicer the weather gets, the worse people drive. It's weird, everything was quiet up to about a month ago, and now I just read about three different accidents on this forum of people being stupid.

I think in general I just have bad luck with cars considering this is my 4th one, but when I think about it, this accident is actually pretty ok considering all my previous cars were totalled and I got away with a bump, I believe I"m gradually learning to minimize the seriousness of my accidents... hahaha

Damn dude, sorry to hear that. Like its been said, no worries it will be covered. But dont u lose your lights since they are not stock? Even so IMO stock lights with clears are best.

that sucks. looks like my hit when some lady came out of her parking spot 'not seeing me' or something. i was sitting waiting for people to walkt to her car. i hate people like that. did you have full coverage or just liability? hopefully her insurance will fully cover it. it's ok to cry. just let 'em flow.

Women's poor driving skills are not affected by whether. It's mainly based on their ability or inability to drive safer and defensively. Hopefully things will work out fine. Then you can get the clear/tails instead.

sorry to hear about the accident, good you were able to speed up to only get rear damge.

Her insurance better take car of you well, rear quarter panel damage is not an cheap fix, and you should find and excelent reputable shop, and get quality work done. Man its not going to be cheap, rear quarter panel work, maybe new trunk, new rear bumper + labor +paint. Get a good rental car you'll be with it for a while.

I swear every time someone does something idiotic in front of me, it's always a WOMAN!!! It's unbelievable! Whether they're in the wrong lane, no turn signal because the left hand is occupied be a fckin cell phone, I've seen, combing their hair etc, the list goes on and on. Oh man, don't get me started.
In fact I can't remember the last time someone did something stupid in front of me and it was a man. There's been men before, don't get me wrong, but the trend lately, has been women.

u know what's funny, she said she was sneezing and thats why she ran the red light, I was like "the light was on for a good 20 seconds, who the hell sneezes for that long!??!!" she was drunk, and she knew it, cops didn't even give her a breathalizer test, so messed up, its mainly cause I'm asian and this place is just rascist (no joke)

her insurance is covering it fully too, I'm going to have them rent a car for me

So I met with the claims agent this morning, and his assessment was pretty much the same as mine, gave me a check for $3638, also said that if my mechanic sees anything wrong with it, give him a call, but I have a feeling if the damage goes beyond 4K he's going to declare it as a totalled car cause thats about how much my car is worth right now with over 100k miles or so...

but at least I got him to fix my dent on the passenger side for free... hehe

My 95 GXE got it even worse last week, (not my fault) and I'm still waiting for the insurance adjuster to get back to we with an estimate, or a total loss.

Man that really sucks! i know how you feel! I parked my car at one of my buddies houses and some old woman backed right into the passenger door and didn't even stop to see the damage done just drove on off like no one's business. Luckily his neighbor saw the incident and HER insurance got me a new door and a whole new paint job!

I feel your pain and I'm sorry about what happened. The world doesn't end here...you do have options, you know. For starters, you can fake a back pain and sue the living poop out of her. Second, the body work seems like a DIY job...possibly? What am I aiming at? Just lurk around and try hard to obtain the highest collision estimate for the repair so that insurance will pay you well and hopefully make you come out on top...that is, with more $ in the end. Good luck!

A close friend was killed by a drunk driver not to long ago. The killer only recieved 6 months in jail, and then let out on probation. Please screw this woman over any and every way you know how.

I'm going to take a look at a 97 Maxima 5-speed, hopefully that one will be in good shape, I'll let u all know,

and I couldn't hate her, she was cute, plus she was crying... (crying ultimately nulls and void all actions done against an individual)

In fact I can't remember the last time someone did something stupid in front of me and it was a man. There's been men before, don't get me wrong, but the trend lately, has been women.
I have been hit 6 times, two of those times I ended up in physical therapy, the time before last time for 5-6 months. The last two were men, but my hits are even, 3 men, 3 women. The women that hit me however, always tried to get out of it, the men were like yeah I f-ed up.
One of the bigger hits the girl wanted to be treated, so I guess she could get in on the sueing that was obviously going to happen. Because a drunk pulled out in front of us and hit us, then she hit us. She actually got to the hospital, then refused treatment because they were required to give her a blood test to she if she was pregnant, she wanted nothing to do with a blood test. Her boyfriend was "trying" to fight us, which was annoying, since we were hurt. They were probably both drunk.
Long story short, our insurance company cancelled us (GEICO is a sham) but then we sued our own policy for the uninsured motorist amount and got a good chunk of it. She got nothing.

Wow, your insurance must be out of this world. Even if her insurance pays out, your rating may be affected given 4 accidents. Hopefully everyone in your car was not injured.
