Front Caliper Rebuild: How to?

I bought the rebuilt kit from the dealer since my pass. side seems to be a "lazy" one, the piston is getting harder to compress and stays on the brake longer that it's supposed to.

Is there a guide somewhere that will tell you how to rebuild the front caliper?

No, it's not the front brake conditioning. What I wanted to know is to tear apart the front caliper, replace the seals and put the caliper assembly together.

I read Haynes and FSM, but they don't tell you anything on how to rebuild the caliper.

Just buy rebuilt calipers - they are around 40 bucks or so a piece. The ones that get rebuilt at the shops come back clean, and looking new. Even if you can replace all the seals yourself, it won't be the same as the ones you can buy. Plus with the cost of the rebuild kit and the time involved, its easily worth the 40 bucks to just buy one thats already rebuilt.

Where do you see rebuilt calipers for 40 bucks? I'm in the market for some rear calipers and the cheapest (even rebuilt) I've come accross so far are still over $100 each...

My pricing estimate was for front calipers - which is what the OP was concerned with (based on his post). Rear calipers are indeed more expensive - because of the added complexity of the parking brake mechanism. Here are some good prices on both front and rears (loaded and unloaded):

I picked up my rear calipers from partsamerica.com - I believe they ran 80 dollars each after returning my old ones to them (core charge).

Cheers.
