considering engine swap soon, need suggestions!

OK, I've got a 95 Maxima with 130,000 miles on it and it feels like it's running a little sluggish. I like that pep of a new car, so i'm thinkin about doin an engine swap before i start having problems. I do have a couple of questions, maybe you guys could halp out with:
1) If I wanted to put an Infinite i35 engine in, what are the benefits of that and would i have to change anything else in the car to accomidate that?
2)All VQ30DE are the same right? from 1995 to 2001 or whenever they changed to the VQ35DE. Cause I always heard the 95-96's are a little faster than the 97-99's.
3) If I get a new engine, I should probly get a new tranny to go with it right? If so, what would be a ballpark price of how much a new engine/tranny would cost?
4) Where can I get em?? (Besides the dealer cause they rail you on prices)

Thanks much!

1. Benefits are increased displacement which = more power and more torque. A few things need work on that. For more info check out the All Motor forum.
2. Yes, all VQ30DE's from Maxima's and I30's are the same. There is however a VQ30DE-K which came in Maxima's and I30's in 2000 and 2001, it is not the same. For more info on that, look around at the 00VI swap threads.
3. Yeah, you might as well get a new tranny to go along with it if you're paranoid about the mileage on your engine.
4. Look online at car parts sites such as car-part.com.

You really don't need to be so worried about the mileage on your car. 130,000 miles is nothing on a VQ. If you feel your car is running sluggish, do a full tune-up on it and check for any problems.
