Passenger Side Mirror

I need a new passenger side mirror. Does anyone know how to remove the mirror from the door? It still swings and locks in place, but is cracked and I just think I'll get a junkyard replacement. All Maximas has power mirrors, right?
Thanks

Remove the door panel. Take off the black cover. Take off the 3 bolts and unplug the harness.

In a related development, I'm looking online at salvage yards' inventory. WHY does the RH NON-HEATED mirror cost MORE than the heated one? Doesn't make sense to me....any ides? just curious...

i'm not quite sure if this is the same in the maxima's, but my i30, i can remove the cover of it, meaning i can get any color mirror n be able to remove that outside cover n replace it with mine. the door panel is where your window switches, locks n everything is.

to remove the front door panel (doesn't matter which side)
1) use a flat screw driver n pry from the front of the window switch (the side closest to the hood).
2) remove the bolt that is in where you put your hands to close the door, remove that plastic peice that the screw went into.
3) remove the 2 screws on the bottom of the door
4) then you wil also have to pry the plastic piece that covers where you open the door. remove it the same way as you did with the window switch and pry it, i forget which side, the front or the back, i believe its the front. remember, both the window switch n door handle where you open it requires quite some force, just becareful not to break it. i thought i was doing it wrong at first because it just wouldn't budge, but it will
5) finally just pull from the bottom and it will all snap off, then lift the door panel up but becareful because there will be wires that connect to the lights on the bottom of the panel which you need to remove.

removing the mirror.

1) take the black cover off where your mirrow aligns on the other side of it
2) remove the 3 bolts holding the mirror n place nad remove the wire that its connected to.

DON'T BE CHEAP AND GET AT LEAST A HAYNES MANUAL BECAUSE ITS WELL WORTH IT

p.s. i bought my mirror from e-bay, it was about $35 plus shipping, the junkyard wanted to charge me about $130

Update. I just replaced my passenger side mirror and took pictures. I can do a writeup if anyone is interested, but I'm not able to post pictures yet. If I do a writeup and send it to someone, what's the best way to send it? Is a WORD document OK?
