Lookin for pics of a S5 or trenz grill painted any color black, body color, w/e. thinking the S5 would look pretty good in black. has it been done?

 

Yeah look at MeanBeans posts....He has a black Max with the S5 grill painting to match...it looks really clean.

 

Dont get the trenz grill...go S5 if you are thinking of going aftermarket.

sorry this is way off subject but could someone tell me why my signature wont work and i cant get an avatar. I have the signature all done and saved with an image but it never shows up and im confused. I know its a stupid question but its driving me nuts.

 

Whooooooa..........that is nice! My car is also pebble beige and I've always wondered how the SR5 would look when painted. I love it! Too bad I'm on the west coast.

Just my own personal opinion, I think the s5 grill in black is almost indistinguishable. It's hard to appreciate its beauty. You could sell me yours when you get tired of it and I'll paint it for my car.

 

i like it black. the s5 i think looks a lot better than the trenz. i just think the polished chrome look is a little over the top. even more since i have no chrome at all on my car. how do u guys think it would look painted black w/ evergreen body?

 

Body-match is always the best way to go IMO.

 

Maybe its the angle of the pic but you can tell its a S5 grill in person. If you asked me to sell it 2 months ago I might have taken you up on the offer. It was just setting in the closet during that time. I seem to get alot of interest from people wanting to buy the grill from me. Is Motostorm not producing the S5 grill anymore?

 

Not sure. I didn't know you have this grill. The last time I checked out your car was when you did the yellow capsule mod. The painted S5 surely gives the car a unique look.

 

Thanks for the props. I've had the S5 grill for some yrs now so I was growing tired of it but the painted look has but some life back into it for me.
