replacing shocks, do H&R springs need replacing too?
I looked through the FAQ and How's to and couldn't find an anwer, so sorry for this probably being discussed before.
I replaced the stock springs with H&R springs 5 years ago (+40k miles) on my '97 se. After I replaced them I realized I should have replaced the stock shocks because the lowered springs are apparently tough on them.
No suprise my shocks are shot and need replacing. Do I need to replace the springs as well after 40k miles or should they be fine and what type of shocks will work fine with lowering springs. I read that Tokico shocks are good and see many others using Koni...any recomendations (am not looking for adjustable or anything that fancy)?
Are there any other parts that need replacing on the suspension when I have it apart?
thanks
mike

Your H&R springs do not need to be replaced.
