AC/Heater Issue Advice Needed

Ok guys, having a little bit of an issue with my AC/Heater controls. If I turn the **** to the 1, 2, and 3 position no air comes out at all, if I turn it all the way to 4, then it blows like it normally would. Air quality is good, it's just that it doesn't work in the first 3 positions.

Anybody experience this and how did they solve it? I'm guessing it's just a matter of the control/switch where it doesn't make good contact in the first 3 positions. Please chime in if you know what's wrong with this thing, it's getting annoying.

You need to replace a resistor for the blower motor. There's info on this problem in the Stickies somewhere.

EDIT: Here you go..look for the post by bill99gxe
Why does my A/C only work on fan speed 4?
