yet another maxima with cefiros

I got my OEM cefiro headlights today from paradox systems, the install was a little bit frustrating, but it was well worth the hours. The beam pattern is just awesome, has that nice flare, and also the beam pattern on the road is just uncomparable to the 9004 and 9007. below are some pics, i couldnt get a clear beam picture, the pics below arent the best quality because it was at night and i took pics from a camera phone...

they look sweet bro. endulge us with some better pics. mine are on their way, but i did get smoked.
got some questions for cefiro vets

-so do they use the same corner bulbs? (1157)
-i know there is a 194 that is in the headlight area, do i have to put something in it? (meaning i don't really want to have to wire it the first day) whats the best place to wire it from?
-can the oem maxima headlights be reinstalled afterwards?
-i know they dont fit perfect, but everyone has their own story.......... so lets hear it
-how long did the install take you?
-anything else i should know..... .... ( and yes i realize they use h4s and that i have to cut the post)

sorry for all the questions, im just anxious to get em. anyone feel free to chime in on this. thanks

-yes, they use the same 1157 corner bulbs, but you'll need to use the stock corners lights bulb socket with the cefiros, since it wont fit, you need to shave the holes for the nub to make it fit
-the 194 bulb (city light) should come with the cefiros (mine came with both the 194, 1157, and H4 bulb), im not using it right now, but you can splice it into the corner light
-you can reinstall the oem maxima headlights, if you keep the corner bracket, i bent mine down, some people take it off completely
-it fits OK and left a small gap, but it looks 100 times better than the stock headlights, so it doesnt bother me much.
-install took about 5 hours because i had a touhg time cutting out pieces using a simple handsaw, my dremel broke, a dremel with a strong cutting cisc would cut down on the time
-keep it mind to save the screws and have the H4 wiring harness before the install

THe only OEM made Cefiros were chrome, so that has to be chrome.. Smoked were aftermarket made.. I really want to get the Chrome Cefiro's, but got to wait till around august, because my money is needed on other things

Question: is there alot of openings after you installed the cefiro's? I heard about the smoked ones having alot of gaps needed to be filled, But i was wondering is the same applied for the chrome?

the cefiro comes with the socket and bulb for the corner light which is a 1157 which is the same as the stock 4th gens corners, but the connector on the 1157 socket on the cefiro doesnt match up with the 4th gens wiring, so you'll need to use the stock 4th gens corner light bulb socket, and since the cefiro and the 4th gens sockets look the same, the nubs in the socket are different, so you need to shave the hole slightly bigger on the cefiro headlamp to make the 4th gens socket fit.

Cefiros + projectors > all other headlight options for the 4th gen

Looks good and it'll look even nicer when you finish the job up.

How do you plan to fill that gap? Wow, that's huge! I knew Cefiros had gaps, but that is much more than I imagined. I think Cefiros are beautiful, I just wish they were made to fit a lot closer than they obviously do.

yea i know, the gap is huge, but the plus sides of having the cefiro headlights outweigh the negatives.

I can't beleive you guys live with that poor fitment. Unacceptable. Just get the stock '97/'99 lights with the diamond clear cornering lights.

I just ordered some cefiros. And I just found this pic, which shows them installed with hardly any gap. Maybe you did something wrong?

Doesn't look nearly as bad as the other car's gap. Maybe it's just not a good angle. Not sure.
