Changing the big belt...
I'm not sure what it's called, it's the belt on the left hand side if looking at the car from the front. I need to change it, any idea on how much the labor costs on this? I'm not sure I have the tools, time or know how on doing it. Also, is it strange for one of those circular pulleys to be wobbling??? I decided to change the thing because noise is coming from it...and power steering is starting to suxor, it doesn't look like previous owner changed it or anything.I think it's slipping.
Thanks

There are 2 belts there. Easy to replace them yourself. Any shop can do it - for 100 bucks (at most) including parts.
The noise might be from the tensioner/idler pulley. Just have the shop look at it and replace it if needed. That part runs about 40-50 bucks.

Need sockets and some wrenches. Do it yourself. Sounds like the tensioner is worn out. You can replace it too. Belt is $14 or so tensioner is $50. Stickies contain some info about this.....

Not sure you can really get a torque wrench on any of the bolts you need to fiddle with for the belts. Nevertheless, buy yourself a torque wrench sometime - its absolutely essential if you ever intend to work on your car.
I did my belts a few weekends ago and just hand tightened to what I felt made sense. You just need box wrenches. Sockets make some of it go faster, but are not required.

PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation. on it for more info.
It only costs 6-7 bucks and can often start sticking closed ... so if you've never replaced it or don't know if it was replaced, it is probably a no-brainer to do it at 90k. I replace mine every 30k.

You'll need a 14MM wrench or socket and just a plain wrench. It'll only take you 10 mins to do it and is straight forward.
PCV=Positive Crank Ventalation. Its to equalize the pressure I think?

I thought the PCV valve was actually pretty tough to change. It is nearly impossible to get a pair of plyers in there to move the clamp out of the way. I eventually got it off but it was a total PITA. The old one was functioning just fine still too at 90K.
