My airbag lamp stopped flashing, after about 7 days. I moved the seat back and forth, reclined the back and set it upright, about 3 times. I switched the computer from diag to regular back about 6 times.

To all the people who have this problem, are your cars 98's with side air bags? Because my friend's wife has a 99 and it doesn't have the airbag lamp issue.

Hopefully Consumer Reports has been made aware so that those shopping for a used Maxima don't get burned--this is an expensive issue to fix.
