Who else had ECU code 0702 ?
Right bank catalyst 0702 code. The stickies suggest a diagnosis one of the following components as a possible cause:
three way catalyst
exhaust tube
intake air leaks
fuel injectors
spark plugs
ignition timing
I reset the code once, it came back a few days later. Any one else fixed this code? I am thinking of changing the spark plugs first, they are due with 40000 km (25000 milles) on NGK copper. Oh, I also installed a budget Y pipe 3 months ago, no problems. This code only apperead a few days ago.

?? i believe 0702 is synonymous with code 0420. (front right o2 sensor) I got that code about 10k ago. didnt come up until just a couple of weeks and now it's gone. I've read somewhere that the 0420 code is just a fluke and comes up randomly for the wrong reasons. i'm a 99 calispec and theres too many o2 sensors i dunno which one to switch out. i reset the code about 2k ago and hasnt come on since.

Protomax, Gee You posted yesterday! If only the search worked. I would not have started another thread.
We had the same first idea: replacing spark plugs, we have same mileage on them.
The strange thing is there is no right bank catalyst on my Max. Only the one and only rear cat.
