i saw a 96 maxima today with his stock tailights except instead of having the red and clear tailights he painted the top part you know the orange and clear part with black tailight spray paint, so just the red part was showing it looked pretty good has anyone out there have these tailights? and does anyone think this would look good? its different.

 

Were they totally blacked out? Or just spray tinted? I think they would look good tinted on a black max.

 

as a matter of fact it was a black max since i have a black max also it caught my eye, they were spray tinted, and like i said they looked pretty good, it`s original, and best of all its cheap, you just need the paint you can try it with your factory lights and if you dont like it you can take the paint off. nothing to lose.

 

I think it would look better all tinted out. As a matter of fact there is a member of this board who has done it and has a pic of it.

fivelitrekiller has blacked-out taillights too. It's not to totally blackout, but tinted instead.

isn't that illegal though?
