Wow, it looks awesome! I'm glad that it all turned out okay for you. I really like that blue. I actually almost bought the same colored 98 GLE but the airbag module had to be repaired the weeked I was going to pick it up, which is why I had to go for the white one I have now.

You should have taken the opporunity to paint the handles and grill and/or shave the antenna/trunk/door gaurds and/or paint a body kit, etc.

It's BS3 which is Neptune Blue. Some days it looks really dark and on sunny days it looks so bright. I love the color. I have the same color too but I bought my car with the 97-99 conversion so the bumpers have to be painted. Good job with the paint !!

Oh man, that would suck. Finding the person scratching your car would be awesome! Finding out that it was a girl and you can't beat the crap out of them...... would suck.

What movie was that? Pulp Fiction? Where John Travolta says something like "It would be worth getting my car scratched just to catch the person scratching it".

i had a question, since you file for an insurance claim and what not, does this mean you premiums will go up in any for sort of form? just wondering because i have some minor key marks on my driver side door and i just never really reported it or anything thinking i wouldn't of gotten much.

As long as it was not a moving violation, it should not raise your premiums.

Let me Give you the real deal... I have worked for a ins company and if you claim only one than everything will stay the same....But listen to this and pay attention any kind of ticket or violation that you get will go against your record, every 6 month the insurances check your record and if you have any kind of accident it goes against you. The bottom line is, we pay for insurance i mean the word says it all INSURANCE. the only difference is they Hate it when we file any sort of claim and when you try to go and get a different ins, all of that will show against you. My advice to you is try the least as possible to claim anything and if you can repair it from your own pocket go ahead and save the claim for something REALLY BIG..... Cuz your gonna be surprise when you see that your premium is going higher and higher $$$$$
