alignment issue??

Alright.. I need some words of wisdom. When just cruising at a constant speed or so, my car pulls a bit the the left, but when i give it a decent amount of gas it pulls harder to the right. Does anyone know what this could be? I will get an alignment but i need to know if something else may be wrong first so i dont end up getting an alignment, then getting something on the front end fixed and then getting another alignment. Thanks

torque steer is most likely what you are feeling during acceleration.

Check the tires first. If they are worn unevenly (toe set may be out) then when you mash the gas it will pull. When I replaced one of my blown tires on the front left it pulled to the right when accelerating because the tire with the lowest thread was on the right side. Also try rotating the rears to the front and see what happens. Finally have a shop check your alignment, if toe or camber are off, your car will pull. One more thing, only toe can be adjusted on the front and there are no rear adjustments. If the camber is out it may be corrected by adjusting the toe but it will make a small differnce. If you do get the alignment ask for the "before" readings prior to making any adjustments. Goodluck.

check your tires, but you said your getting an alignment ask for the print out of before and after specs, you'll have your answer then.
