High Idle

Recently I installed a hyper grounding kit. Before installation the engine would idle under no load aroun 700 -750 RPM now its idling around 800-850 RPM. I also noticed that my car has been guzzling a little more gas lately since I done this. Would a high engine idle lower my MPG? I also tried to adjust the idle speed screw on the IACV but the damn thing won't budge What can I do?

This is funny...I actually seem to be getting worse gas mileage with the hyper grounding kit that I bought also, however I haven't seen an increase in idle speed. Has anyone else's gas mileage gone down after installing these wires?

at cold start the idle would be higher. after the car is well warmed up it'll drop down a little. high-idle does not make obvious MPG difference. i wouldn't trip...

I was able to turn the idle screw on the IACV this morning when the engine was first started with some needle nose pliers. However, after driving it around a bit and trying to turn the screw it is nearly impossible. I guess b/c the engine is hot. I also checked my codes and there's nothing wrong. I'm going to try to drive on a tank of gas and hope that the hyper grounding kit is not making me lose any gas, which I find hard to believe.

I don't think the screw not turning has to do with the engine being hot. It just stops after a while and I haven't found you can do must adjusting with it anyway. Just be careful because it is plastic. Hope you find the problem soon.
