Looks much better. That's the height the maxima should have been at from the factory. enjoy the new handling!

That's good height especially if you plan on getting a bodykit; it's not too low.

I've always considered a body kit. But I scrape the bottom of my STOCK BUMPER as it is pretty often with just the 1.5" drop!

I know the body kit would look cool for a week and then i'll rip it right off going into a deep dip or in a parking lot with the concrete wheel stops. How can you enjoy driving your car if you always have to worry about things like that? A show car, no problem, but a 15,000 mile per year daily driver is another...

They're dropping 350z.....
I'm still getting used to the bodykit thing but it isn't that bad, your 6th sense most of the time will tell you you shouldn't do it, anything you are unsure of just approach at an angle if you can, roll down the windows and listen if it scrapes, I've got eurethane so... There are also times when you think for sure it would scrape and it doesn't.

ha ha. You guys can argue forever with this one. Everyone has a preference. And SHOCK, it may differ from yours!

Not everyone wants the "low rider" look. Looks perfect height to me. If you like your car really low, great. Get some s-techs and enjoy. This is the drop that most of us have with our H-techs, H&R's, Eibachs, Maxspeeds, etc.

Take a look at the very top "after" picture. Nice and clean looking. And not "slammed" so low that it looks like you are trying too hard to be cool or something. I approve. If you don't, well, okay. Agree to disagree. It's his car anyway.

and you wasted your money on your maxima from the get go when you bought an automatic car. so quit giving everyone **** and go 'rape' that autotragic slushbox you drive.

You really can't go lower on the GR2's, they won't last as long. I think the lowest you can go with those struts is 1.6". I just installed a new set of GR2's with my existing GC coilover/springs and I have 17" 2k wheels. I'm at 1.6" in the front and 1.8" in the back since I really don't like the raked-up/hot-rod look. I'm happy with them for now but maybe next year, I'm going for 18" light wheels + Illuminas and S-Techs. I gotta get the car repainted first before I do more modding.

IMO....you should get 18s or 19s to get rid of that gap...

i have maxspeed with tokico HP/kyb agx... it looked a bit lowered than my gxe suspension at first, but now like everyone else said maxspeed is not low enough. maybe i'm sick of looking at my car being not "low" enough so recently i just got tein s-tech.

but definetly better than stock. maxspeed is a softer side spring, good ride quality for street application.

I have the exact same set-up. Definitely better than stock height, but most people don't even think my car has been lowered. It's sucks that it came from the factory as a 4x4 to begin with.

Also, think twice before getting it alligned, because I did and wasted $40. It was still in spec and they didn't need to adjust a damn thing. I should of went with Tien's, but we just had a baby and I was worried about a harsh ride. Furthermore, the Maxspeeds were cheaper by $100.

The GR2/Maxspeed set-up feels a little firmer than stock but just as comfortable.

Ha Ha. Life's a gamble. Yeah, in your case it was unneeded. But how could you have know ahead of time?! When I installed my springs and struts I was quite a bit out of spec on the alignment. Sometimes you are fine, sometimes you need it. It may be worth $40 for the peace of mind of knowing for sure. But that's just me talking with my new, sticky tires. I'd like to keep those babies for a while so those wheels had better be aligned

Yeah, I agree... However, new wheels and tires, especially larger rims and lower profile tires will surely alter your allignment. It was a gamble for me, but it sucks that I didn't need it and I could have gone lower and not worry about having to get a camber kit. Anyways, the ride comfort was what I was ultimately after and at least a normal looking ride height and the Maxspeed/GR2 set-up didn't disappoint.
