Was going around town running errands and todasy I did NOT have the wife and baby in the car... Saw a Harley weaving through traffic behind me and he just happened to wind up next to me at a red light. He started revving and took off at the green. I gave it the gas and stayed next to him as he tore off the line. Well he got ****ed that I stayed with him and he gave it full throttle and I did as well... I pulled about half a car length on him by the time I hit 3rd and then really began to pull away...he backed off and gave me the finger. Whatever...but it was really funny beating a tatooed bearded freak on a Harley!

Gees... not all people that drive Harley's are freaks but this guy had a ZZ top type beard some teeth missing and really bad tatoos. Harleys are not very fast stock. They need serious mods to go anywhere. Why do I know this - b/c I used to race cycles. Look in the back of cycle mags and they'll tell you that most Harleys run mid 14s in the 1/4 mile. I had a modded zx11 that would pull almost 140 in a 1/4 mile and do it under 10 sec!

By the way is NE New England or Nebraska? I live in Iowa so if you're in Nebraska, then tell me what color your bike is so I now not to race you...

ummm

i think someone took this post a little too personally... my uncle has a harley and he's hardly a bearded freak with 1000 tattoos, he's a small time newspaper editor in new york... but most of the harley owners i see around my town ARE bearded freaks with 1000s of bad tattoos. doesnt mean all are, but seems that alot are.

Be real. If this was a stock Harley, he didn't have a chance. Those things are slugs. You have to do some serious mods to make them move. Remember, they're for cruising and looking coooool. Now, go against a rice burner. And you don't stand a chance (we don't stand a chance).
