I was wondering if you had to make all of the adjustments to e-manage or smt with a laptop or could you use a desktop(I know its a stupid question but I don't have a laptop). Also do you have to keep the laptop in there all the time or once you have your setting it keeps it? Just wondering because I looking at safc to adjust my A/F but also want to change my timing.

 

well if you could get a cable long enough to go from your house to your car you could use a desktop for emanage. Other than that, no. you can make some adjustments to emanage without a laptop, but to get into the deeper things you can do with it you need a laptop. you don't have to keep the laptop with it all the time though, once you have your settings in there you can throw your laptop away until you want to change something.
