CEL on but no Codes?

So my CEL went....I hooked up an OBDII code reader up but no codes came up...What does this mean?

Check for codes again - use the ECU screw method described in the stickies... or take it to autozone to see if their code scanner pulls anything... if there are still no codes, reset the CEL, and see if the light reposts.
