Updated interior :)

Just thought I'd show off my updated interior lighting (LEDs in my air vents). Came out pretty nice...let me know what you think

They turned out great! I knew that would look cool. You're an electrical genius by now...as for the clearance lights, either AE them to match the headlights, or just black them out from behind. I chose to AE mine.

Still gonna do your gauges or leave them as is?

Dome light needs about 50 more LEDs to make it look even.

Haha, I'm far from an electrical genius but I do have the basics down (and maybe a bit more). Either that or I'm just extremely modest, but nahh none of this stuff is hard just very time consuming for what it is. I also think I'llAE my corners

Yes I still plan on doing the gauges, probably red with white needles

2 da max - It's never blinding, but if I'm tired it sometimes can be a bit much which is one advantage to having the switch wired in so I can switch them off if needed. They really aren't overly bright though although they def are brighter than stock bulbs

To everyone else thanks for the comments. And kevlo I'll work on addin those 50 LEDs to the dome light

Def took a nice while, but mostly because I didn't use writeups for half of it (there wasnt one anywhere for the HU). The vents were easy to do once I figured out where I was going to draw my power from. The switch has 3 prongs for ground, load, and power, which was very easy to wire in with the LEDs in parallel with their individual 470 ohm resistors. I know some people will love it and others will hate it, but I think the red is very classy and different. I like to maintain individuality. Now I just need to replace my shift boots and **** and also redo my gauges then the interior will be good to go. This month I'll be putting on a y-pipe (one because it's the best bang for the buck mod ever for our cars and also because while under the car the other day I noticed that the largest of the precats has a huge dent in it I guess from something the previous owner did which is prob restricting some power). Plus I want the rest of my exhaust to be shiny like my Borla catback

After that I'm hoping to do Illuminas and S-techs with 17s or 18s and some new rubber since my tires are bald as hell

So does the dimmer switch from your stock interior lights still work with the LED's?

Works with all the LEDs except the climate control ones (and air vents obviously) since they both run off of different power supplies, neither which is connected to the dimmer. Even if they didn't though I personally wouldnt care because I think anything under the maximum setting is too dim, but then again maybe I just like really bright lights...

how did you get your clock & climate control so bright?
I did the white clock mod along with my climate control but it seems a bit dark.
(i cut the wire to make the clock always bright)......still very hard to see during day hours....it is fine at night.....
any suggestions?

Mine is very hard to see during day hours as well. I think the picture makes it look a bit whiter and brighter than it really is. During the day it looks very white but at night it still has a slight greenish tint to it that bothers me sometimes so on a day that I'm not feeling too lazy I may go in and take everything apart again to play around with the color more but I know it'll never be perfect. The secret to keeping it bright though is using as little cellophane paper as possible though (makes sense). I only used one piece for each because I found even when using 2 pieces it became considerably dimmer, and even with one piece it's hard to see if the sun is shining directly on it during the day. It's the price you pay for wanting your interior to look pretty
