Changing door trim

so i have an SE with a banged up driver's door, and i just got a new door, but its off a gle/gxe so anyways, is it possible to remove the chrome trime pieces and replace them with my black ones off my old door? i know i can do the door handle easily, but im hoping i can get the rest of em fixed too. any insight is greatly appreciated.

When my car was in the bodyshop, i asked them to get rid of the chrome trim. Problem is: it is a PITA to get it out. It's actually held down by screws or something in that nature. I would have a local shop switch it out for you. I'm sure you could do it, but it isn't easy.

Body shops always have the right tools. Just tell the guy to swap it out for you. Offer him like 50 bucks or so.

Dood its easy. I took off 95% of mine to replace the door vynil. Just take your time. You will have to remove some screws and nuts from the inside of the door panel. I gently rocked them back and forth after removing the screw and bolt and they just sorta pop off. Again, just take your time. Practice on the ones you dont want to keep.
