dumb intake question

well just purchased a frankencar hai and want my low end back but i do like the mid increases i received. if i put the stock mid pipe thing on instead of the frankencar 180 dollar midpipe would i keep the mid range but regain my low end? or am i stuck one way or the other. sorry for being a tool with all the questions.

its the frankencar intake setup, midpipe cone adapter and...the rubber ****. yes i did, but ive read good things about this company. i could just try it myself and see if it works but that involves moving around some..and its late. so i figured id ask.

You will still get that zip, just not as loud. The midpipe does stupid things with the power curve. zack has proven this. Shop around more and do more research before buying a product.

I had poor mans HAI and hated the low end loss, put the stock box back on and drilled a few holes on the side and under where the filter sits. At WOT i still get a nice rumble and I've retained my low end "go" so i'd say go that route...just dont overdo it on the holes...
