poor tree. naw just kidding.......poor maxima.

but hey it coulda been worse. my integra got the whole roof caved in after a tree decided to fall on it. the funny thing was that it was my neighbors tree from 2 houses down and it ended up in my front yard driveway. o yea by the way it was during a hurricane......i live in miami....so that explains how the tree traveled its distance to my car.

Some of those might be able to get polished out but those long ones on the trunk look too deep. I say new paint

im gonna take it to a few places to get some estimates. i agree with rsyl33. some of the deeper scratches on the bumper probably wont buff out. but at least nothing was broke or dented.
on a side note, i ordered my y pipe today. so i guess that makes up for my car getting dumped on

I had a close call like this today as well, I'm also around western PA. Had a big storm around 2am last night, came out to find a tree lying next to my max in the driveway, but the max was untouched.

Hopefully most of those can be buffed out, at least you were lucky enough not to have dents. Good luck.

Yikes, good thing the tree only left scratches! I'm always nervous to leave my Maxima outside cause we always have trees falling down in big storms.

thats not as bad as I thought. I read the subject and figured a large 90 year old tree fell on the car almost crushing it. You just have some branches and stratches, still sucks but still drivable.

first estimate - $610.00. Buff the trunk and spoiler, repaint the bumper.
Going for the 2nd one today.

i could tell the accident wasn't too serious when i first read it because you were angry over that fact that you had just waxed it.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!!!!! you didn't stand outside to catch the tree???? You should of been outside watching over your car every minute once that storm hit!!!..heeh..j/king... but yes it sucks, if you're gonna get the rear bumper painted, why not maybe invest in a body kit?? i believe fitting and painting is the most expensive part

I think you are lucky! The damage could have been a whole lot worse! I guess I'm a " glass half full" kind of guy

yea, it definitely could have been way worse. if i had pulled back another few feet in the driveway...my car would have been dented pretty bad. took the car for another estimate and the douchebag thinks that everything can be buffed out....i guess im gonna go with the first place considering they will at least repaint the back bumper.

looks like i might go ahead and turn it into the insurance and eat my deductible...just so i can def have my bumper repainted and possibly get a 6th gen max as a rental until its fixed. it never pays to be the nice guy. note to self = always go thru insurance

Ship man you got lucky, if the tree had fallen like 2-4 more feet forward that would have screwed your rear windshield...but it still sucks
