Suspension recommendations
I have the Progress springs/KYB AGX setup now, have had it for about 40k miles and it is riding very harsh at the moment. I have also been having a problem with my passenger side driveaxle failing very quickly. I am thinking that these two are related because I have replaced the right side about 5 times compared with once in the left. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good spring/strut combo or coilovers that will last a bit longer than the progress/KYB setup? I really liked the setup in the beginning but after about 20k it started to become quite harsh.
AGX is lifetime warantee but void below a 1.5" drop. If the progress is more than that, then you cant, but if its that or higher and you have your papers then you can get new struts/shocks, and get new springs to soften up the ride.
Ksport coilovers are loved right about now. There is a 10 page thread on it in the general section. Illumina and H&R is the most comfortable and mosdest drop combo. Illuminas ans S-techs will give you a low drop and comfort still.

Isn't it possible that the springs could also be contributing to the problem?
Also I don't really have the time to put my car out of commission while waiting for KYB to evaluate and send me a new pair of shocks...thats if they will honor the warranty. Of course, I could always try to get them to send me a new pair after I install the new shocks that I have paid for.

At this point im thinking H&R's with Illuminas, right now this is my primary car, but I plan on getting something else in the next year or two, so I am willing to sacrifice a little bit of performance for long lasting parts.

Keep the Progress springs and get rid of the AGX's. Put a set of Illuminas in and your ride will improve dramatically.
As far as the axel goes, are you getting rebuilt axels or brand new? You can purchase a new CV joint from Nissan and just change the outter CV joint. I'm sure you'll get quite a few more miles from a quality CV joint over a rebuilt or aftermarket unit.

For my right side I have been getting my axles from raxles.com and they seem to be of OEM quality as they claim. For my left side I had it rebuilt at Foreign Autoparts and it has held up very nicely. I have tried rebuilt axles from local autoparts stores and I am lucky to get 3,000k miles out of them.
Maximaboy...how is your suspension set up affected when your car is packed with people and also having ur trunk packed....I just wanna know if your ride changed...
