adjust timing

any writeups online detailing adjusting the timing on our Vqs?

According to my Chilton service manual, the vq30de ignition timing is not adjustable. You can check to see if timing is within specs. But if timing is not within specs, you need to check for faulty components.

It is impossible to adjust timing. Is there something wrong that you need it to be adjusted? If so you have to go through the PCM to find out what is wrong.
