Yes, 194 it is!!!!!!
I was planning on just a plain white. If i get the LED's will they be just simple........like pull the old 194 bulbs and then insert the LED's in it? OR do i have to mess with so many god damn resistors and what not.

it is 100% percent plug and play for a 97. 194 bulbs is the correct choice.Originally Posted by sunten1

they have like multiple LED's per "bulb" i think i remember somebody said that more than 4-5 will make hot spots on the gauges, but less than 3 will not light up correctly? Anybody know the correct amount of LEDs per bulb to get? 4?5?
I for some reason have NEVER been able to get the darn 1156/1157's to work to save my life, but it might be a maxima thing. As for the wedge bulbs, they work perfectly and look beautiful. I'm thinkin about trying the 5 LED wide angle bulbs. Does anyone know exactly how many bulbs there are?

I have a 96 but i just went to Radio Shack and got 5 LEDs, Resistors and a Soldering Iron. I mean if i can do it any body could. But using 5 bulbs that go in the 5 factory bulb holders will create "hot Spots" like i have now. i read that getting 4 more LEDs and makeing the needles glow will eliminate the hot spots. so i will be making a trip back to radio shack.

can I use LED's on controls for A/C, heater, temp selector, rear window defogger and hazard switches? The bulbs recently burned out and am looking to replace with some color instead of just plain white. If so what size bulbs do I need? for a 95 Max SE. thanks
