removing radio
i didn't see this in the stickys so how do you take out the bose radio.. i have done it before but for some reason i'm having trouble. the bottom part is done and i can pull the piece out but the top by the a/c controls doesn't want to move. help would be wonderful!!!

first, pop out the top air vents/clock piece with a flat head. it will come out. then you will see a few screws that need to come out to get the radio out. also, you need to pop off your shifter trim to get to the screws on the bottom of the radio. ashtray will come out-one screw- and thats about it.
now i see that you said you almost have it, the top part is giving you trouble? hmmm, maybe look extra for some hidden screws...they like to hide.

after poping out the air vents with a flathead screw driver, there are too screws at the top that holds the metal bracket you need to take off. then pry the shifter trim off with the flathead also. then you will have to take off three screws at the bottom. one holding the ashtray and two holding the bottom part of the braket.
