door wont lock
Ok don't laugh but I broke my friends front passenger door lock. I used my 3rd gen key to unlock his drivers door and that worked actually so I decide to try the passenger door. Didn't work. Now his passenger door doesn't lock. You lock it manually and it still opens. It looks like it locks but doesn.t Any help would be appreciated.
Is his car a 3rd gen also? why would you use your 3rd gen jey in his 4th gen car? The keys probably arent identical.
If it has power locks, does that work. or how about locking them with the CORRECT key. you only said it doesnt work manually (im assuming moving the lever on the inside)
if thats the case, then maybe the rod between the lever (next to the handle) and the lock cylinder somehow came loose. other than that, you might have totally f'd up the cylinder by using the wrong key.
