EXCELLENT JOB!!!! few questions...
the TSX projectors u got... did u bake those in the oven as well, to take the projectors apart from the headlights??? I already have OSRAM hid kit on my 1996 maxima with 1997 crystal headlights.. I have glued the bulb permanantely on the headlights.. so if the bulb goes then i m really screwed.. but now i m planning to do what you have done on yours... so, please if you can provide detail write ups on taking the TSX headlight apart to take the projectors out..
thanks.

I think unpainted outsides look the best because they give a clean look

Fellow Maxima.org members, I am WAY late on this trend of retrofitting a maxima with HID ligths. I have been contemplating looking into a way to get HIDs for my car, but just recently realized I was already behind!

I would like to get a set built for my 99 Maxima, but do not think I could do it by myself and not mess up $100 worth of light housing! So I would like to contract someone to build it for me, with me supplying the parts. If anyone knows someone that could do it for me (and not for my arm and leg) let me know. I will pay for the person's labor, and supply whatever parts I need to get the HID set built for my car. If they are on the east coast, I would also possibly drive to their location and let them put them in for me. Someone please help a fellow Maxima lover get his car up to date and looking swift!

$100 bucks is the tip of the iceberg for a retro fit,

pending on housing, projectors, and other misc things, your total can run upto 700+

there is a guy in jersey that does them for 200 bucks.

nice job! was it a lot of trial and era? how was the aiming process? Also the main topic what did you use as a Shroud to limit light leakage from the projector housing?

only way is to buy the red clears. there is no other way to modify the stock tails to look clear.
